Research Interest My main research topics are logic, philosophy of logic and metaphysics. Areas of Specialisation (marked with *) and Interest: Tempo-modal Logics*: Priorean, Peircean, and Ockhamist; Refinements of their languages (metric, hybrid or Vlach-style); Languages for trees with undividedness and indistinguishability functions; Quantified Tempo-Modal Logics. Ontology and Metaphysics*: Theories of existential and ontological dependence; Theories of Essence; Tense realism and antirealism; Events. Logic of Agency: ATL, Coalition Logics, PDL implemented with strategy-sentences; Combinations of Deontic and Stit Logics; Tempo-Modal Languages for mono- and multi-agent Stit Logics. Epistemology: Belief revision and belief merger; Scientific change and its structure; Contradiction-amending strategies in science; Theories of Causation. Curriculum Vitae I took my MA in Philosophy at the University of Pisa under the supervision of prof. Mauro Mariani (Chair of Logic). The title of my thesis is "Fenomenismo e Fenomenologia nelle Osservazioni Filosofiche di Ludwig Wittgenstein". I have been a PhD student in Philosophy at the University of Florence (2005-2008). I successfully defended my Ph.D. dissertation, entitled "Existential Dpendence in Temporal Contexts" and written under the supervision of Prof. Roberta Lanfredini (Chair of Gnoseology, Florence) and Prof. Fabrice Correia (Associate Professor, Geneva). During the PhD I have spent a stay of one year and a half at the University of Barcelona, with the Logos Group. I have currently a one year (2009) postdoc postition at the TU Delft (faculty of Technology, Policy and Mangement), with a project in "Applied Modal Logic".
