Areas of competence: epistemology, philosophy of mind, and the history of ideas

Areas of specialization: personal identity, epistemological reductionism/anti-reductionism; scientific realism/anti-realism; epistemology of clinical cases.

Curriculum

Born in Pisa (1977), I studied at the University of Pisa with G. Fioravanti and A. G. Gargani, and I took my degree in Philosophy ('Laurea') in the AY 1999-2000. In autumn 2001 I was admitted to the Phd Course ('Dottorato di ricerca') at the University of Florence (2002-2005). I received my Phd on February 10th 2006.

From July 2006 to June 2010 I received annual grants from the Department, for a research project on scientific realism and antirealism.
